Frequently asked
QUESTIONS
Lazy Lion Publishing understands the complex process of becoming a published author and the hard work it takes to get your work onto shelves– and even harder, into readers' hands. Lazy Lion Publishing allows you to add the title of "published author" to your resumé while also adding the seal of an official publishing company to your book. This opens up a whole new door to the publishing world that was never available to you before while also allowing you to build your name as an author.
No. Although we will read all our submissions in our mailbox, that does not guarantee publication of your work. We want your submissions to be top-quality work, and we strongly suggest that you have your work edited and proofread before submission. We don't want drafts of unfinished scribbles. We want finalized and polished manuscripts.
We understand that completely! Although Lazy Lion Publishing is not a traditional publisher, we're here to help you take all the needed steps to get you there. Our main goal is to get your name and work out there to get to that next level if you so desire. Some other writers may be reasonably comfortable with independent publishing for the rest of their careers. That choice is up to you!
Of course! We won't even consider signing your title until we sit down and talk to you first. We want to know your hopes and goals for the future before anything is official because we want to make sure that we're the right fit for you too. If you decide we're a good fit for one another, then we'll move onto the best service for you! But, again, we're here to help you!
If you have any questions beforehand, please get in touch with us directly! Likewise, if you have a question about your work, please make sure you submit your manuscript ahead of time.
